A recruiter for RIA-channel wholesalers

If you carry an RIA-channel territory, you get calls from recruiters who don't know what you sell or who you call on. I'm not that guy. RIA-channel distribution is the only thing I recruit for.

Talk in confidence →

Happy where you are? Good.

The best time to talk to me is when you don't need to. You're hitting your number, your RIAs pick up the phone, and you're not thinking about leaving. That's exactly when it's worth knowing which seats might open up in your market, so you're not starting from zero if something changes.

There's no application and no résumé. Send me a two-line note: where you are, what you sell, and what would make you listen. It stays between us.

What a good move usually looks like

If a seat isn't right for you, I'll say so. I'd rather keep your trust for the next one.

How I keep it confidential

I don't share your name with a firm until you say yes to that specific seat. I won't send your details anywhere you haven't approved, and I don't recruit people away from my own clients. Reach out and you get me, not a junior researcher.

What happens after you reach out

We set up a short call at a time that works for you, usually early or late in the day so it doesn't eat into your meetings. I'll ask about your territory, your RIAs, your product and what you'd want from the next seat. You can ask me anything about the market.

Then I keep you in mind. When a seat opens that fits what you told me, I call you, explain the firm and the role, and give you my honest read. If you're interested, we go from there. If not, no hard feelings, and I'll still be around for the next one. Plenty of good moves start with a conversation a year earlier.

Who I talk to

External wholesalers, Regional Directors, RIA consultants, internal wholesalers ready to go external, and the distribution leaders who run them. Anywhere in the US.

Questions I get

Is talking to you confidential?

Yes. No application, no résumé. Send me a two-line note and it stays between us.

Do I need to be actively looking?

No. Most of the people I talk to aren't. I'll keep you in mind when a seat opens up in your market.

Do you charge candidates anything?

No. The hiring firm works with me. You never pay to talk to me.
